EZTitles Workspace Essentials > Backup and Restore Settings

EZTitles provides multiple options for creating backups of its settings. In the previous topics we discussed how to create, manage and import/export profiles to keep different visual layouts or shortcuts for specific profiles.

But there is also the option to create backup of all EZTitles settings which includes: all the Profile related options (visual layout, personal shortcuts, toolbars, etc), all dictionaries, project templates and all other configuration files that EZTitles use.

To create backup of your settings simply start EZTitles and look in the Tools drop-down menu: Tools/Backup Settings. This will create .zip file, containing all the needed files, on your computer's desktop.
Once created, the .zip can be shared/transferred to any other computer.
Restoring the backup is easy enough as well: click on Tools/Restore Settings and select a backup .zip file.

EZTitles also creates automatic backups when it starts for the first time each day. This option can be disabled from Edit/Preferences/Recovery although we wouldn't recommend it.
